LTS said the appointment reflects a strategy to combine a long-running, technically specialized services business with a modernization push that strengthens how testing work is planned, executed, documented, and reported. The company cited a focus on practical improvements, such as tighter operating cadence, more consistent documentation, and faster, audit-ready reporting, while maintaining existing quality requirements.
Sneed brings experience across engineering, manufacturing, and program execution in regulated environments, including the pharmaceutical and advanced electronics manufacturing, aerospace and defense sectors. He also serves as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Defense Operations and Engineering Solutions (DOES), a Florida-based engineering and operations firm focused on execution discipline, digital engineering, and responsible use of AI-enabled workflows.

As part of the leadership transition, Anthony Heinz will serve as Chief Executive Officer, and Sneed will join as President.
LTS stated that its testing operations are performed under an ASME NQA-1 compliant quality assurance program, and that its training programs meet the requirements of ASNT Recommended Practice SNT-TC-1A and ANSI/ASNT CP-189 for qualification and certification of leak testing personnel.
LTS said it will prioritize continued growth in the space and nuclear markets while expanding capabilities and business development in pharmaceutical manufacturing and the semiconductor and microelectronics sectors. The company cited overlap in compliance expectations, documentation rigor, and quality-system requirements across these industries.
